Urgent Care Physicians

Our Oak Ridges Urgent Care Clinic is looking for Part-Time Urgent Care Doctors available to start as soon as possible!

 

We are open 7 days a week and patient appointments are available both in-person and via telemedicine. Our facility features well-maintained exam rooms and a dedicated procedure room along with On-Site Diagnostic Imaging, Dynacare Lab, Rexall Pharmacy, and more. Our Urgent Care Clinic Team culture is supportive and inclusive and is a special place for patients and staff.

The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:

·        Valid CPSO, CMPA, and OHIP billing number

·        Experience with fractures, lacerations, and other procedures

·        Works well with patients of diverse cultural, ethnic/racial backgrounds and sexual orientations

Registered Nurse

Our Urgent Care Centre is currently seeking an experienced Registered Practical Nurse for a Long-Term, Part-Time, or Casual position of approximately 10 Hours/Week.

Education & Experience:
- Certified RPN & Registered In Good Standing With The College Of Nurses Of Ontario (CNO)
- BCLS Certification At The Health Care Provider Level
- Experience An Asset

Responsibilities and Tasks Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Manage Daily Patient Intake & Flow
- Record Vital Signs
- Administer Injections &/Or Oral Medications
- Perform: Wound Care, Dressings, Splints, EKGs, Wart Treatments, Remove Sutures, Ear Flushes, Etc.
- Support MDs With Patient Care &/Or Procedures As Required 
- Maintain Clean Patient Rooms & Adequate Inventory Of Medical Supplies
- Document As Necessary
- Promote Inter-Professional Collaboration & Team Building

- Great Organization, Time Management, & Multitasking Skills

Administrative Staff

Our Urgent Care Centre & Family Practice is currently seeking two Administrative Staff for a Full Time position.
 
Education And Experience:
-Experience In Medical Administration Required
-Completion Of Grade XII Or Recognized Equivalent
-Completion Of A Diploma In Medical Administration Or Office Assistant Preferred
 
Responsibilities And Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:
-Greeting And Registering Patients
-Answering Phones And Calling Patients
-Scheduling And Booking Appointments Or Referrals
-Sorting And Sending Mail
-Data Entry, E-Mailing, Faxing, Scanning, And Printing
-Complete Forms And Letters As Required
-Maintaining A Clean And Tidy Workspace
-Offer Administrative Support As Needed And Required
 
Skills Required:
-Excellent Oral And Written Communication, And Customer Service Skills
-Ability To Work Well Independently And Part Of A Team
-Demonstrate Attention To Detail In A Fast Paced Work Setting

Volunteers
Our Urgent Care Centre & Family Practice is currently seeking Volunteers for Long-Term, Part-Time, or Casual positions to help improve patient care for our diverse community. Volunteers help enhance the patient's experience. By volunteering, you are able to gain transferrable skills and learn of workplace demands in a healthcare environment.

Requirements:
- Must Be 16 Years Of Age Or Older
- Agree To A Health Screening That Includes A 2-Step TB Test
- Communicate Well In English, Both In Speaking & Writing
- Commit To A Minimum Of 2-4 Hours Per Week For Approximately 6 Months Or More
Must Be Professional, Reliable, Punctual, & Work Well With Others
- Must Maintain Clinic & Patient Confidentiality
- Must Comply With All The Safety Standards Of The Workplace
- Proactive & A Problem Solver

Responsibilities and Tasks Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Assist With Patient Flow
- Assist With Administrative Tasks
- Ensure Medical Supplies Are Stocked
- Follow Directives, But Also Work Independently
- Support Clinic Staff With Duties As Requested
- Must Be Able To Be On Your Feet For Extended Time (Depending On Patient Volume, This Position May Be Physically Demanding)
